Ken Swanick

Ken lived life to the fullest and encouraged others to do the same. He lit up a room with personality and funny stories, and if you were quiet, he’d draw you in so you felt a part of the festivities. He cooked everything from scratch, and every meal from spaghetti, to cabbage rolls, to mac-n-cheese, to lobster…was delicious. He was a great dad with our 3 boys, he played with them, went on adventures, told silly stories, and put them to bed each night with a prayer and a song. He was generous, each Christmas walking the streets of Chicago giving out bills to the homeless. And, as a husband he was calming, sometimes annoying, but always loving – a great person to laugh and talk with each day. Ken was greatly loved, and is greatly missed!
